Feminine Hormones & Cyclical Living: Reclaiming Sacred Wellbeing
Our womb and hormonal cycles are gateways to deeper self-connection. For centuries, women lived in tune with their moon cycles — understanding their rhythms, honouring rest, and embracing their fertility and flow as sacred.
In modern society, many of us have become disconnected from these natural rhythms, often turning to external systems to tell us what’s “normal.”
I used to experience intense period pain, endometriosis, and hormonal struggles. Changing my diet, embracing a more natural lifestyle, and removing toxins from my environment were pivotal steps toward healing. Through clean nourishment, herbal remedies, and embracing my natural cycle (without synthetic hormonal interference), I began to remember the innate wisdom of my body.
Hormones affect every stage of a woman’s life — fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause. They respond to sleep, nourishment, external stress, environmental toxins, and unprocessed trauma. Yet, our health systems often treat these stages separately, overlooking the bigger picture of hormonal and spiritual wellbeing.
A holistic approach that weaves together body, mind, spirit, and emotions is the missing link in maternal health. Instead of focusing on symptoms, we need to remember the whole woman. Every stage — from menarche to menopause — deserves reverence, education, and support.
I invite you to reflect:
✨ Which area of your wellbeing might be asking for more balance?
🌿 What rituals can help you reconnect with your cycle?
🌸 How can you begin to educate yourself and reclaim your hormonal sovereignty?
